🌏 I am from Minnesota. I have family and friends in MN. 


Watching the news from Amsterdam has brought up a mix of sadness, anger, worry, and helplessness - especially as community members continue to protest and demand accountability in the face of federal immigration operations and violence. 


I am also feeling so proud of Minnesotans who are brave, kind and resisting - despite their fear and bitter cold temperatures. 


Living internationally, far from home is very hard - as I want to support and show up for the community I care about, but I am limited by distance and time zones.


Today I am sharing this video that I actually recorded a few weeks ago, and it is still relevant. Are you feeling dual emotions? I know I am. I'm also seeing it in the images of protestors. Sadness & Joy, Fear & Hope, Anger & Gratitude.


I'm following my advice and sitting with the swirl of emotions but I know that action can help too.
